Director Barbara Docherty spent over 7 years developing the TADS approach which emphasises individual person focused and a generic person driven communication process which includes all ages and ethnicities rather than only selected and targeted ‘at risk’ groups.

After 23 years of practice nursing, radio health advice, primary health care nursing development and research, regular medical and nursing journals input, government involvement and as author of the only New Zealand practice nurse training manual, Barbara has made some clear observations of the most effective methods of behavioural change practice. She is a former Board member of the Alcohol Liquour Advisory Council (ALAC) and is currently a Board member of the Health Promotion Agency and a member of the Lotteries Commission Health Research Committee.

Contact Barbara Docherty for further information on how the TADS PACT© and BOI preventative health interaction tools can be implemented successfully by your staff or organisation.
